About

“Karani jindésti kárani” literally means “To write is to fly” in P’urhépecha, one of the many indigenous languages of México still alive today. However, it means so much more. The two words (karani and kárani) are separated by pronunciation alone. In many ways, this is exactly what the written word does; how we say something ultimately changes its meaning.

Another language lover! Mucho gusto. I feel like we have a lot in common already and I’ve only “known” you a few minutes.
